This is a BBK 80mm throttle body for a 6.1 Hemi that I bored out to 84mm for a guy swapping the engine into his '05 Dakota. As you can see, it is a cable operated throttle body instead of the typical DBW (drive by wire) unit.

Yes it's 84mm all the way through, with a wider taper at the top. And yes, BBK machines their throttle shafts for increased air flow, instead of just leaving it round, so I didn't have to do that myself.84 all the way through? Was the shaft already flat?
The throttle plate is thicker due to the diameter of the bore. I machined the proper angle and elliptical shape for the throttle plate also.
If by stock you mean the DBW (drive by wire) I'm not doing those at the moment.Quote:
