Default 03-04 Durango 2WD Spindles and Calipers

I have the spindles and calipers for a 03-04 Durango. Comes with dust shields, all original hardware, 4 new bolts (just in case), new copper washers, and the calipers have been rebuilt with new seals and new pistons. Everything was carefully sandblasted and painted black with VHT caliper paint. Its more or less everything needed to do the front brake conversion minus the hubs, rotors, and pads. I was looking for $300 + you pay shipping.

Would you need to change to 03 brake lines or will 97-00 work?

I'm not entirely sure what the difference is but they are listed as two different part numbers for the single piston (97-02) and dual piston (03-04 kota, 03 rango) setups.

Might be different lengths. I just did this swap a couple months ago and used new NAPA hoses for the 03 durango.

When I did my swap I used my original hoses, seem to work fine.

Good deal! If I hadn't just put on new rotors and pads on my '99 5.2L sport I would get these.

Looking at the '99 brakes and the '03 side by side, these are much bigger/better!

Just not worrying about having to helicoil the spindle is enough to justify the swap

But even stock for stock these are a huge upgrade. Dual piston calipers vs single, bigger od and thicker rotors (rangos were thicker than dakota too), and the caliper is mounted to a bracket instead of slide pins.

These are still for sale. I'm also using a business account for shipping, so it will probably be cheaper then you expect.

That's good info. I thought about buying from you, but figured shipping would kill the good asking price. :/ I got spindles locally for $130.

$130 for the spindles is a good price. One guy wanted me to see the cost of shipping to Texas and with the business account it was only $55.

I think so but I'm not sure. You would have to verify with someone else.

Sorry I never got back to you, I forgot I had this up for a little while. The sale with Corey didn't work out so they are still up for grabs. I will work on checking more often.

    Nope

There’s a reason that 15” wheels were no longer an option starting in 2003

Won't clear stock Dakota 15" wheels but a skinny 15" race wheel will clear them with a 1/4" spacer, I'm running Bogarts 15x4" with 03 Durango brake conversion on my R/T
