    Default R/Ts on a 4x4

How goofy would it look it put my RT rims and tires 28" federals on my quad cab 4x4?

    Currently its on 30.5" tires.

Don't think it would look TOO bad but i think they'd be just a little too short. Cut the coils and throw the block in from the rt

That lifted white CC w/ like 26" tires comes to mind. I don't think it would look good.

It crossed my mind. I just put brand new tires on the RT, would like to get some use out of them.

Nope, but there's a silver cc on dak-dur that has R/T wheels, looks good, but you have to do the right size tires. I don't think it would look good with 28" tires.

I was just thinking. Durango R/Ts come with 275/60-17s. That's what I had on my truck. Those are almost 29" tires.

I know you said to axe the idea, but they can look good with the right tires.

I think some of the 04 quad cab 4x4 trucks came with the R/T rims as they were just trying to use up the inventory on the assembly line, after the R/T production stopped.

I've seen a few quad cabs with R/T rims on them, owners said they hadn't modded a thing and that it came that way

If the tires are 255/50-17 Federals, I am in the market if you are interested in just selling them and getting taller tires for the QC. Let me know Bryan!

If you do that and your not looking do spend a lot on tires, check out company's that sell used tires on eBay. Their all tested and tread ranges from 8-9/32 to 4/32.
