If you're running a stock long block with just the bolt ons and a 4bbl, you'd benefit greatly with a 2bbl.

I wouldn't say the turtles are a waste on the 2bbls. I noticed a nice change in throttle response and off the line power when I put in the large turtle in my M1.
Well, i tried contacting the guy that wanted my M1 2-Barrel and he still has not tried to contact me yet for the manifold. And quit honestly, i do feel a difference between the two manifolds. The 2-Barrel has a more lower-end pull, but the 4-Barrel has a mid-upper pull and it pulls a lot harder than the 2-barrel would. I like it, and honestly i think you would benefit a having a 2-Barrel on the your truck since you do not have an upgraded cam. I also think that you don't need a turtle in the 2-Barrel because of how the manifold is designed, the reason that i say this is because of the intake runners on the manifold are longer than that on the 4-Barrel and the increase in the angle of the runners on the manifold.
That is just my $0.02 on the idea, and we can talk about it this weekend during our R/T meet
Matt
I ran a 2bbl fr a couple years without a turtle. Then I bought one of the small turtles and didn't notice any difference. Then I bought the large turtle and noticed a decent increase in throttle response and better off the line low end power. The turtle does help, even with the 2bbl. It smooths out the flow of air into the runners, and increases the runner length slightly.

For some reason when this truck was stock I was able to keep up with a 2004RC Hemi Ram that the guy had set up a little bit for racing. He stated that He runs a 14.2 in the quarter and when we raced from 0 to 80 I stayed at his cab door. I bought the truck with 30,000 miles on it so who knows, maybe the previous owner did stuff to the truck that i dont know about. Or I guess there is the possibility that it came from the factory with the performance upgrade options for 2003..

The truck is bone stock. Bought it October 31st 2009 with 40,500 miles. Phase I plans are - Smoke Taillights & 3rd Brake Light, Clear Corners, 20% Window Tint, 3/2 Drop, De-badge and replace with chrome 5.9 & R/T badging only, and something with the shitty exhaust set up the previous owner had on.

Im looking for a white club cab......let me know if any of you know of one for sale
Yeah I know of the supercharged one. There a red RC here that I've worked on, but he's not on any forum. I've seen a yellow CC in Council Bluffs. Mainly meant there aren't many on the forums. Nice to see someone a little more active.
