    Default Radiator Reservoir Delete?

Hey guys have a question about my 1999 Dakota RT. I’ve been messing around with weight reduction and while I was removing the A/C condenser I pinched a hole in the radiator. Luck I found a nice all aluminum/racing radiator on eBay for $170 bucks. My question is since I’m swapping out my radiator can i delete my radiator reservoir? Figured save some weight and clean up the front of the radiator support.

You need a reservoir/overflow tank (not necessarily the factory one) if you don't want to lose coolant when the cap opens up. A relocated aftermarket one instead of the factory plastic one is fine.
