    Default Harmonic balancer/lower pulley

Hey guys not sure if it’s normal but my harmonic balancer looks like it’s wobbling although the pulley seems to be rotating smooth. If it’s not normal what kinda issues is it causing and is there a better part to replace it with. Also a Couple years ago I had a guy install a smaller under-drive pulley so maybe he bent the harmonic balancer while installing the part??
    Thanks guys any info helps!

Actually pretty common. Don't run it. It will ware into the timing cover and you will get a massive leak, loss of oil and pressure.

Yes, pretty common. I think the rubber between the inner and outer hub deteriorates. You can get a new on from rock auto, I don't the factory two piece take balancers that you can change the pulleys out on are available anymore, just the one piece.

Running an out of balance harmonic balancer could cause your crank to break.

Somebody still makes them, the guy that built my motor used one - I think it's aftermarket though, not OEM replacement. He also internally-balanced the motor when he built it.

Hey guys I need your help. I got everything bolted back up and now I have vibrations issues. I didn’t have these vibrations issues before. I used a summit racing OE-Style harmonic balancer. What do I need to do to get this fixed? Does the harmonic balancer need to be balanced? And it’s hard to tell but it looks like the drive pulley isn’t well balanced. Let me know what u guys think.

    UPDATE
Removed the Summit racing OE-style harmonic balancer and installed an oem 1peace harmonic balancer. It Fixed the problem.
