Default Suggestions on throttle valve cable adjustment

Trying to get some suggestions on throttle valve cable adjustment from different sources. I've got the factory manual but I've never actually tried it on my 99 Dakota R/T. Last time it was done it was in the transmission shop when I first got the truck so they did it. Since then I've changed the throttle body. That's the only thing I've done but I didn't mess with the cable adjustment. Drove it today almost 100 miles and noticed that 1-2 shift was quick. The rest of the shifts were normal. Didn't feel anything unusual. Transmission has been serviced regularly, probably more than needed. No lights or anything unusual but the quick 1-2 shift. I was referring to the factory procedure and it appears you have to have 2 people to do the adjustment right. Is there a way to do it by yourself? I visually checked and unhooked the cable. It looks pretty centered with the mounting stud just sitting with the engine off. Watched a few videos but nothing very clear. No one checked the throttle valve on the transmission in any of the videos like it says in the manual. Is it a few minutes adjustment or does it take several attempts to get it right?

You need to pull throttle lever all the away forward then pull the TV cable forward. See how close they are. Memory is crap, but pretty sure you adjust about 1/8" short of the attachment point with it at WOT.
