Default T56 swap in 2001 Dakota

I have the swap done. Now just trying to finalize a few things. As per Ryan's tuning, I need to jump the neutral safety switch. Being an 01 the factory plug used to go to the TRS module.

Is this as simple as grounding the P/NP pin (#6 pin) in the factory plug to either the frame or the empty pin in the plug itself?

Any and all help is very much appreciated!

Not sure if it helps since this info is from my 1999 service manual, but basically the answer should be yes just ground out the park/neutral switch. See the below diagrams on the '99 it's the black w/ white stripe wire.

Connector pin out #2 on the A/T park neutral switch harness. Use the VT/BK wire for the reverse backup lights (pin#3)

Note the DB/YL wire for the clutch interlock switch (the connection is jumped out with a yellow wire in autos, located adjacent to the main firewall connector block behind the pedals)
1999 R/T CC Flame Red (what's left of the paint)
