Thread: Flowtech Warlocks

    Default Flowtech Warlocks

Got the Warlocks welded up and painted to replace the Spintech mufflers. Just waiting for the paint to dry to put them on.

    Looking good Mike.
Please post some after pictures, I'm interested to see how they mount up.

I copied the Spintech muffler setup, so it will mount up the same as the Spintechs with the side exit.

I matched the hangers from the Spintech mufflers, everything bolted right back into place. I don't know why it rotates all my pictures 90 degrees.

I don't think I've ever seen the Spintech mufflers mounted up before. Do they hang lower than the chassis or they tuck up high enough?

The bottom of the Spintech mufflers sit about even to 1" above the bottom of the frame rails.

They sound pretty darn good and I can see they do tuck up in there nicely.
    Spintechs are much louder?

They were about the same sound level at idle, with the Spintechs being a little more tiny sounding. Above idle, cruising the Warlocks are much quieter, but the Spintech are little more "racy" sounding when you get on it. If I want super loud, I can unbolt the caps and use the bypass feature and then it's almost like straight pipes.

I have one big straight through 3" Magnaflow muffler on my truck now. I like the deep tone but it's actually quite mellow up in the higher RPMs.

Thinking I might try to configure two smaller Magnaflows in a set up like yours when I swap in the 408 and run true duals witn a X pipe to the back.

Mine has Spintech down pipes with cats and O2 sensors, duals with X-pipe and was Spintech mufflers with Spintech side exit. It was a Spintech full system, very expense, but all mandrel and fit very well. If you go to Spintech's website, you can see their duel system with a X-pipe. I would think a good exhaust shop could make the same system for much less money.
