    Yep. Picked up 5.7 short block that has a locked lifter that wiped the cam for $120 (itll be my test motor as i build another for real power). Next purchase will be a trans for it so i can mock everything up for the chassis.

    The only reason I bought the brackets is to save time.... maybe about 8 hours at most. Pretty sure I could position the engine & trans and make all 3 mounts in a day. Maybe I should have done that... the cost is cutting into the tens for three thousand budget..
