What are the specs on your heads as far as valve sizes, porting, etc. Sumpin ain't right.

Ok so I went back on some old threads. You have stock EQ heads that you weren't sure of valve sizes. These were a "replacement" head for th e Mopar Magnums that flowed a bit more than stock. No magic there.
Basically, you have not increased air flow through these heads. They need some porting
You need more air through your engine that a cam and TB size increase can provide. You have an aftermarket intake?

i have an m1 intake (2bbl) ,52mmm tb with HS 1.7rr's all going out into longtube headers 2.5 inche exhaust.
    e-fan installed 180 thermo
i have a nice kinda built tranny with a trans-go shift kit matched up to a Hurst ratchet shifter.
im at 4300lbs with me in it.
    with a FRP tune.

I'm running the 16inch tires due to my 20's leaking air.

the eq's had just basic work done to them. 3 angle valve job and bronze guides.

the shortblock of the motor is tired with 215,000 miles on it basically. I'm scared to do a compression test lol.
i was just hoping to get 13.9999999999 out of her...feels like ive dumped 10grand for nothing....

$10k? where? a tenth on a un dialed in set up is not an issue. When was this run? I heard track temps were wicked high this past weekend in FL.

I did this run on wed night in orlando.
i did the runs after sundown....wehn u say track temps...is that good or bad?

well..i maybe not 10g in the motor but it feels like it.....
but the 400.00 hurst shifter....the 3,000 in the tranny(i never wanted it to break and also yes i was ripped)......the 4new tires=500.00......500.00 sct tune......1400 in the heads...250 for the ported TB.....400 for the Harland sharps.....electric fan setup was 250ish...
so yea not quite 10grand in just the motor ......but damn....I'm doing this car stuff all wrong....just a big L here learning the hard way...

I doubt that as well rob. Figure every 100 lbs is worth a tenth. Your engine seems tired. I betcha if your truck had lower mileage say below 70K you'd break 14's.
