for the last 5-6 years I've been using china android units. decent sound yes compared to a 5-6-7 hundred dollar unit...but these cost 150.00 or so normally and i get the latest Andriod OS in my truck....when you buy a pioneer you get their OS and cant just go to the app store and download anything...anyways...if you buy one make sure its a detachable head unit(much easier install)...i didn't with mine and had to take it apart to install it.
and once i did that there was no way to fit the screen through the single din slot....so in the end... magnets solved everything!

What's a din? If it can't get the Three Stooges on there I don't want one.

Did you record any performance gains going to 4.56s?

nope i didn't...but i think it was due to the motor just being worn out...ive done a lot since my first run (14.26) and after my 4.56, hurst shifter, swapped EQ heads...i run a 14.6 now.....bottom of the motor is tired with 218,000 on it....my 60ft time got SLOWER lol.....

Are you now thinking about upgrading?

i moved back in feb and have just been busy with new house projects. i need to replace a lifter...but the motor just needs replaced and i'm just not wanting to do it right now...kinda burned out after i did what i did to the truck just to run slower than my first time with it at the track....i mean i took off 50-60 lbs worth of weight...added 4.56 gears with a eaton....swapped the heads for some eq's..still 1.92 but swapped....added a hurst ratchet shifter....and ran slower than before i did all that work.....im not good at being a builder i guess...
