Gotta stay in it! Unless you're a bracket racer.
My guess is that it would have been 94-95 mph.

so AFTER i swapped my old heads out and put in some EQ's that well.... was stock....my times in my truck went DOWN to 14.72ndtimeslip.jpg
im doing everything wrong i guess....
i figured it would get .1 better not .3 worse.....

the slip fromthe first post was my first time at the track...the second post with two slips are my runs after the head swap.
Your truck slowed down slightly.
I took at look at the conditions, and they were basically identical.
Did your new EQs have larger valves in them or have any port work done to them?
if not, there wouldn’t be any reason to expect it to be faster.
It’s been shown that these engines like a cooler operating temperature generally.
Is it possible that the 14.6 time slip was run with the engine at a cooler temp?
It could also be something as simple as the fuel sync not being back in the exact same place after the work that was performed.

looks like traction could be an issue. 60ft is down. Hard to tell if its down on power bc you lifted to early on the first slips.

i have a snap on scanner and can see my fuel sync. is that where i would look?
im a newb sorry...

Do you have the correct cartridges for the Snap on?

With better heads and possibly better October air, you should have been considerably faster.
We live for October/November here, then it's too cold.

If you have a scanner and can see what the sync number is - you can also then experiment with this some to figure out where it makes the best power. Go make a pass down the track. Wherever it is now - move it to -2 from there and make a pass down the track. If it improves the mph - move it -2 more and try again. If it slows down, go back to +2 from the original setting and try again. If the mph numbers never change - then the issue is not sync.
Experimentation is half the fun - and sometimes produces positive results!

well after now swapping out my rear end with 4.56 and a true trac...14.5. at 95mph
2.2 60ft with the 4.56 gear =(
i still have a stock TQ converter, suspension and cam.
im in a club cab at 4400Lbs cause i have subs/amps.
i think im happy for what it is.
im moving to Georgia in a few weeks so Im just gonna drive her. when im done moving UP ...shes gonna get a 3000 stall....and somehow...a cam/timing chain swap.
That 2.2 60ft says street tires to me. Id say with a decent slick you could shave that down to a 1.8-9 and thats a BUNCH of ET right there!
