When you receive trans back be sure to check converter bolt depth, rebuilt converters can take shorter bolts, if bolt bottoms out you destroy converter clutch.
I'm glad i can rebuild my own trans and modify if needed for hp. Good luck..

The trans is finally out. I am fairly certain it was removed by the previous owner as one of the top trans to engine bolts was missing.
Any way, no major problems yet. Just working on the exhaust until the new trans comes in.

Got some good news from Martin Saine this evening; my trans is enroute. Can't wait to get started on the install.
Anyone know where this bolt goes?
I labeled the bolt when removed as "trans linkage".
Its the only bolt I have left to install on my trans.
Thanks.
Terry

Not sure if you still need them or not, but I got a set of trans cooler lines in newer shape for sale if interested.

//SHAKER// 408 Forged // TKO600 5spd // Spintech-Mids // HiPoTek 106 LOPEYCAM // FRP Tuned //
Thanks. Below is a list of what I am using.
2 each - Aeroquip AN to NPT Adapter Fittings FBM2517 (these will thread into the trans pressure and return ports)
2 each - Aeroquip Reusable PTFE Fittings FBM1122 (these will thread onto the FBM2517 fittings on the trans)
2 each - Aeroquip Reusable PTFE Fittings FBM1144 (these thread directly to the radiator)
20 feet (more than enough) Aeroquip PTFE Racing Hose FCC0620
Image below of what I assembled using the above.

More clamps will be used once installed to properly secure the hose assembly.
Will update with pics once installed if anyone is curious.

Update: I flushed my trans cooler today. I ran the flushed fluid through coffee filters to catch any debris.
This is all the debris that came out, what little there was.
The elusive 10mm for scale.

Got the RT back on the road.
I followed MSaine's install instructions and had zero issues with the install.
I have logged 50 miles so far as part of the break in. It's like a new truck again.
I am amazed at the difference.
Below pic of the steel braided Aeroquip PTFE hoses and fittings I used for the trans lines. I think they came out great. No leaks and assembly is fairly simple. I followed the video online how to cut and assemble these.
