Thread: Another R/T

    Thumbs up Another R/T

I just bought another Dakota R/T. It is a Black CC with Taupe LEATHER interior with only 53,235 miles. I know it was originally sold at Szott M-59 Dodge in Michigan then it went to Wisconsin. How can I find out more history on it? 1876398787.jpg1876398777.jpg

I have the carfax and it does tell me it spent most of its time in Wisconsin. I would like to know the three owners that had it and why none of the drove it over 5,000 mile a year?

That info would probably need a connection with someone at the dmv, police depot, impound lot or car dealership. Im sure there's some websites that you can pay to look it up.

That kind of info used to be available from my county treasurers office, they quit several years back because of privacy laws. Maybe it is different in your area.

You obviously never lived in the north. If you have a nice vehicle and you want to keep it nice you don't drive it in Winter. The R/T in snow sucks besides. Keeping mileage under 5000 a year is not a problem here in Michigan. Owned an 89 5.0 convertible for 10 years, I put 3,000 miles on it. The top leaked, so between winter and not driving it when there was a chance of rain the mileage stayed low.
