will wait a few months on finding an R-3 block ,, still going ahead with my latest build [ 4.250 stroker crank] I have a cherry standard block which makes it a 427,, would really like the Ritter block and bore to 4.200 which is a 471,, but can't justify that kind of $$$$,,unless I win the lottery...

Sometimes you find obsolete parts somebody has stored.. I've found Duesenberg-Cord parts for a customer before,, I also found a new windshield frame for a 37 Plymouth coupe in the factory box.. Never hurts to get the word out..
Just found a machinist who has a friend with a bunch of R3 parts,, checking if he'll sell anything..
Remember there's 7 different versions of the R3 . Takes the right one.. Thanks for reply..: r/t smile:

Your right,, scarce as hens teeth,, found one but the guy won't part with it,, museum piece for him.. only answer is Ritter block, ,won't fit Dakota without adapter engine mounts and many other mods [crank pick up also]. Plus a lot of $$ for another 40 ci. over my build [4.250 stroker] .
