    Question Tranny issue?

Whenever i go full throttle the truck shifts right at 3000 rpm and not any higher, what is the issue?

Welcome. Before every old timer jumps on you to ask you these questions....

Have you adjusted the TV cable on the throttle linkage?

Hey guys thanks for your help, it was the TV cable! Just hanging at the back unclipped from the throttle. It's like driving a brand new truck now, shifts great. How would this come off, would someone have to physically un-hook it?

Assuming the clip isn't broken, someone would have to physically remove it.

Which would imply someone intentionally took it off at some point, hard to believe it left the factory and lived its whole life with it unhooked lol.
