Stock Radiator works just fine ! Electric Fan and a good water pump is the only thing to worry about

Where i'm at in florida i run ac. most of the time and on a 90-96 deg. day it want's to run 200-210 deg. in traffic [ac on as usual] plus i'm getting serious about a new build for the truck,,that's why i want more cooling ability.. can't have too much cooling.. i run 180 stat - orifice drilled .125 to bleed air.. cooler day runs 180 deg. but i live in a hot state.. Thanks..

We get up to 106-110 on a hot summer day our stock radiators hold up, as long as you have a good fan

The amount of tubes in an aluminum radiator is second to the width of the tubes. Standard for American performance radiators is 1". Many foreign radiators are just over a half inch. You may be making a lateral move if indeed yours is a foreign sourced radiator.

The last time i went to school,, 3x1/2 = 1 1/2 that's a 50% increase.. "Called surface area"... Majority of radiators now come from china [sadly] like most other stuff we consume..
This radiator has more fine fin area . The tubes are about .629.. I like the idea of aluminum tanks over plastic..
In most cases or original cooling system is great and does very well,,i'm looking for more cooling because of a bigger planned build than the 408.. The new radiator looks very well constructed,,it's worth a try.

Sure is. Hope it works out well for you. Don't know the year of your truck or if they did it to all of them but probably worth it just to get rid of that dumb ass radiator cap on the hose they put on the 2000's.
