    Default R-3 block crank trigger

    Does anybody on the sight know if the rear block crank trigger can be put on the R-3 block ?? Thanks.

    You mean the factory crank sensor? I so some R3 blocks have the crank sensor boss and you can use the factory crank sensor.

    Which R3 version is it? I have one that does have the crank sensor boss as mine is a magnum based version.

    Why not just run a trigger on the balancer.

    Why are you wanting to run the factory crank sensor on an R3 block? if you are building an engine with the power level for a need of the R3 block, I wouldn't run the crappy JTEC EFI.

    My R3 block is 4.000" rough bore, 9.560" (tall deck) Siamese water block with standard cam bearing tunnel and 59* lifter bore angle.

    I run the MSD crank trigger, would be a good idea for the OP to do the same.

    Just found out it's a 340 wet block r-3 block,,already bored to 4.080 max bore and has a few scratches that'll not clean up till 4.085 area ,, block is done.. Thanks for the help-advice..
