    Nice!
Ild love to have a shop full of all 100 year old American made tools. There are so many dies for the hossfeld. May not be the best for tube chassis only shop. But for what i do. Its flexibility is perfect. I already have iron work jobs for it on the books.

We do a lot of stuff for Rottler Manufacturing (cnc machines), but one of the guys does a lot of hand rails, stairways, so he uses a lot of the old brakes, tube benders to make some bad ass stuff

Picked up another short block. This will be my test/sacrificial motor lol

Tons of room when theres nothing in the front

Also I decided to ditch all the factory frame and build a full tube chassis for it.

Damn its been a while. Hard to find time over this past year or so. Plus material is wicked expensive right now. But was able to pick up 3 sticks of 1 5/8 so i can start the main rails, and floor.
Found a few mins this weekend to do a little more prep work to the cab.

That floor is heavy. Probably 50ish lbs.

Gdaaam ! Gonna be a helluva build, and yes the price of material is and will continue to sky rocket, ships sitting at harbors unable to unload for a year, not enough drivers to move the spools

So i mocked up a spare block to see what i would need to cut out of the firewall. After marking it out and looking at it. These firewalls are so asymmetric that it would have been more work (or my ocd would have been in overload) to make a midplate work. So i decided to cut it all out. Then I might as well set the motor back for better weight distribution. Im keeping the CCL and CG up and back bc ill probably run big tire back track type races.
Looking like ill need to notch the cowl and windshield next.

Little bit of a set back.

Think that trans will last ?

Thank God for drivceshaft loops lol

The thing is, the engines don’t sit dead center on these things

and to think, all that needed to be done was boost or nitrous and run low 12's.

I know, why couldn't they just center the engine?
You wanna see the conniptions that had to be done to get the shaker thru the middle of the hood.
I applaud you having the skills to basically "rebuild the truck".

Tired of seeing no new notification on the main page!
Not a big update but I did find new centers for my wheels. I think the Mags will look good with the Dakota lines

Betcha you have seepage at intake manifold water ports if nothing else is cracked.
Re-seat the manifold and put a lot of snot stopper around the water ports on the head.
