Remove the stock steering column support, you'll never use it.
You asked about the wiring...I pulled every inch out, only left the pig tails from the lights, built my own panel and custom wired it all in. I've done it 3 times over the years, I just re-did it...all that crap to the driver's side of the main panel is for the Shiftnoid shifter, I'm going to re-wire it again...It's waaaaaay to fucking complicated.
Used the ARC switch panel and relay board, no problem with gloves.

The cross bar I removed wont help with dropping the pan, but it did remove almost 30 pounds.

    Shifter.

Thanks. Everthing now is stripped clean. I think im using an ARC or a francis wiring and re do the whole truck. Seems like the easiest solution.

This is an engine bay I never get tired of looking at. Pull out a choke, start her up, go.

I can kill power to everything going out from the main panel, fan, water pump, ignition, fuel pump...etc, with the red cut off switch, just not the battery. That kill switch is still on the roll pan.

Im thinking of adding a push/pull cable to have near drivers seat so I can control the battery if need be.

another step in the right direction.
Finally found a Hossfeld bender locally and for a decent price.
Came with a ton of dies and the hossfeld hydraulics too!

I thinking of sandblasting and blueing the main frame. but I may need to hold off untill I get this chassis done
