Default nitrous plate and manifold notching

Anyone know if the Air Gap needs to be notched with this kit?

Let me answer my own question with another. On the side of the Air Gap intake manifold, there are several "vacuum" inlets. A coupe of these are not in use and currently plugged. Can I mount a wet nitrous nozzle to one of these and by-pass the throttle body all together?
Truck has the "Shaker" hoodscoop so there is no air tube of any sort leading to the mouth of the tb. For ppl not familiar of what this looks like, after the air cleaner, the housing sits on the tb with something that looks like the velocity stack air cleaners.

On second thought, this might not be a good location because it's on the side of the intake. Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm thinking with a nozzle, it would be better in back or front so as to get better dispersion no?

I believe the tb does have a 4 barrel flange. (5.25"-5.5" diam.? ) AirGap is with 2 barrel adapter on it for the Fastman 2 brl. tb.

This woke me up a bit. The AirGap has a 2 barrel adapter on it. Can I mount a 4 brl atomizer plate under this adapter? If this can be done and the AirGap is not notched here, I can notch it first. I bolted up the whole thing and forget if it came with a notch from the factory or not.

See if this helps , you can see that I notched the adapter plate for the hoses and jet changes

Right. Might need to extend the mounting studs is all. Thanks. Is there a plate better than the next in terms of atomization or are they all good these days?
