    Default Lower Control Arm Mounts

I need both my lower control arm mounts (Frame mounts) replaced. Not sure but the kid that owned this hing before me did something unorthodox o lower i and screwed up hese mounts. They are NOT repairable. I can't..... 1) find he part number or even a pic of the part or anyone that will do the job. Is the truck totaled because of this? HELP!Mounts.jpg

That mount is not a serviceable part, you will not find any part number.

What I would do. Get a battery grinder w/spare batteries, a handful of cut-off wheels, go to a U-pick-it salvage yard, cut out the brackets taking the frame section with the mount, separate the brackets from the frame section at home . Got a buddy that can weld? Otherwise a frame shop near by?

ouch. Hard to see in the pics but it looks like they cracked then the control arm dropped out. You may be all be able to repair it. It will be more clear when the control arm is out of the way.

The lower control arm is fine. I was backing out of a CVS so speed was never a factor in damage. The only damage I see except for the control arm is the sway bar end is bent.

Wow! I think I'd drop the lower control arm, weld the broken piece back in place, grind it flat and weld some 1/8" plate to the outside, and use the original hole as a locator to drill through the added plate.
