    Default SRT-4 vs Viper Seats

So which seats fit better? SRT-4 or Viper seats? What all would have to be done to make them fit? Any pics in single cabs?

Never had SRT-4 seats and would probably be cheaper. They styled after Viper seats, but think they are not quite Viper seats. I had Gen II ACR seats in my 2000 and currently have Gen I's in GrapeJuice. Probably could have got some nice SRT-4 seats for what I paid to have the Gen I sets restored.

SRT-4s are generally in the $3-400 range depending on condition, but since they tend to get used a lot more than the Viper seats do it's harder to find them in good condition. Here's a pair in my "other" R/T:

I welded a set of dakota seat rails unto the Viper seat brackets, than bolted them right in. SRT-8 seats you need to weld brackets off of the SRT-8 seat rails.
I want to say SRT-4 should mount the same as gen 3 viper seats.

Didn't need to weld the Gen I or II Viper seats. They bolted up, but required some holds drilled in the bases for the mounting bolts. Current ones are bolted directly to the Dakota bases, on my 2000 I put a 1" square stock between seat and base to rise the seat a bit.

Shot off worn out Gen I Viper seats in an RC.

After a trip to Venzano for new seat foam, take off overs from a very low mileage Viper that wanted custom leather seats. New lumbar bladders.

Now waiting for spring for be installed after some additional interior work.

Pretty sure the Corbeau rails are what's under the seats in my truck. They'll get you mounted to the floor and then from there mounts can be made up for whatever. Now that I think about it, I need to pull the rails off and sell my seats lol.
