Hi Rich. Nice job with those. You ever think of producing 440 mounts as well?
I know hemis are the more sexy combo but I came from a realm where they were just putting hemis into Road Runner type cars. 440's were much more streetable and as fast or faster than the street hemis in real life.
I met a guy this past summer at Epping who had a stroked 440 (512) in a Coronet. Was doing 11.60's NA. Weighed just over 4000 lbs. He built this motor for under 8K and runs on 92 gas. He drives it to the track.
The potential for 440 stroked engines with aluminum heads, intake and aluminum water pump is outstanding and the thing would weigh about as much as an iron 360 with these mods and you could do it for cheaper.
Just makes more and more sense to me the longer I think about it.
I’m not planning in going to the HEMI platform anytime soon, but I want a set to put on the shelf just in case
