Default Ladder bars or 4 Link???

What do you guys recommend for rear suspension on 03 club cab rt? Local guy here in Houston recommends ladder bars over the 4 link, my build consists of a 5.7 based 392 stroker will be around 550+/- whp N/A and 150 shot of nitrous when necessary. Its gonna be mostly a drag truck with a occasional cruise around town.

Depending on what kind of drag racing you want to do, a lot of classes require a stock style suspension nowadays. Caltracs and split monos would be the way to go in that case.

Just want enough traction to be able to break into the 10 second 1/4 miles. Not gonna be doing any competition racing more of just a wolf in sheep's clothing.

If that's as far as your want to go, Caltracs and mono leafs are still your cheap and easier option.

will you keep it on the street? Ladder bars can be rough on the street. 4 link has massive amount of adjustability. Ladder bars will keep you in most street classes. caltracs and monos work great but will need some knowledge of making them work.

Mid track wheelie on 8.5" slicks good enough lol?

Or a 5.02 @ 146 back in 2013 again on Caltracs and monos:

Don't need to blow a ton of money converting to a four link or ladder bars if there's no reason to.

Depends on the track prep, and ignore the pictures of cars pulling wheels with leaf springs, we race front end heavy trucks.

Really, because my 93 Dakota grudge truck would pull the left front tire on the street with leaf springs, just saying...

What is your setup? My local guy wants to do custom upper and lower control arms up front with dual adjustable coil over viking shocks, for the rear he recommended ladder bars with same coil over setup.
I am also looking into doing this or the 4 link to drop some weight really would like a high 10 sec pas in N/A trim with my 3rd gen hemi swap.

Being that its a drag truck . You need to decide what classes you will run. Most "street" classes will not allow 4 link.

All you need for a 10 second capable suspension is cal tracs and adjustable shocks like Vikings or Afcos
