Thread: RAM might bring back the mid-size truck

  1. #1

Default RAM might bring back the mid-size truck

If they do I hope it looks like a smaller version of the current RAM Sport. Offer the 5.7 HEMI R/T option and then in typical Mopar fashion the 392 SRT followed shortly thereafter with the Hellkota with all wheel drive option borrowed from the Jeep SRT. SORRY I was dreaming again....

Thought the Jeep Gladiator was the successor to the Dakota.

It’s back! The Jeep pickup truck, long rumored and the subject of much forum debate and excited anticipation, has fully broken cover at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. Jeep hasn’t offered a pickup since the old XJ-based Comanche two-door was discontinued in 1992 and the Dodge Dakota was killed in 2011

Chevy and Ford got back in the game and are doing well with sales. I don’t see why not...

The pick-up truck has turned into the new "mini-van" of the millennia where having 4 doors took precedence over material hauling. It's simply a disguise so guys think their still "manly". Does anybody make an actual single cab p.u. any longer?
Was standing next to a new 4 dr. Colorado just Saturday. Had a diesel in it which was neat. Its as big as a full size p.u. was in the 80's.

Don't think it looks as good as our trucks.

I bet they’ll screw it up. Some fiat 4 banger truck with no stick available and probably only 4 door. I don’t mean to sound like a pessimistic but I’ve lost hope in the big 3 for cool pickups

No truck looks as good, or ever will.
