Thread: Oil in intake.

    Default Oil in intake.

    Hughes intake, I also run a catch can. Still get a lot of oil in the intake. Enough the it causes the motor to ping under load. Just did a fresh rebuild on this motor and I think it is worse now. 150 miles on motor and intake is really wet with oil.

    What did the rebuild on the motor consist of?
    Does the hughes intake still run a plenum pan?

    I had a similar problem running the Hughes intake and Moroso catch can.
    Putting a new OEM Mopar PCV valve helped big time. Auto parts store aftermarket valve rattled like a snake. Must have been causing a wierd vacuum issue.
