Default Good thing Spintech is the only big tube header supplier.

Cause mine fit terribly. I had to modify them extensively to fit.
I ordered their mid length headers and Y pipe and both were a pain in the ass.
    Spin tech sucks ass.

Hey my JMs slipped right in like they belonged there, I let my control arm do the clearancing for me before I notched it good luck finding them though

My only gripe is the slip joints, especially stupid 8th primary. Thing refuses to seal. But, I expected that with slip joints.

    JM headers are garbage!

I guess spintech QA had gone down hill, my long tubes at 1 7/8" primaries fit with very little clearance needed back before I chop chop my truck.

You're right, I should throw them in the trash and put the JBA shorties back in

How did you have to modify them? No problem at all with my Spin Tech mids.

Removed my JM longtubes because I was tired of the hassle when I’m removing other items (trans mainly). Have Spintech stainless mids going in to replace the JM’s

right side collector laid right up against the frame
left side was factory crimped in the wrong spot to clear the steering shaft
and the y pipe was off enough to have clearance problems with the trans cross member.
for the amount of money I spent they should have fit better.

Which mounting plates are you using? Spintech’s?
Richard’s crossmember will help with that Y-pipe :P

    Spin tech plates.
I'll have to look into Richards cross member, then I can replace the pipe that I beat to death to make it fit....

My 1 7/8" Spintech long tubes fell right in and almost bolted themselves up.
I used a set of Josh's steel port plates. Money well spent.

I have been running the three piece port plates forever, never had any issues except I had to heli coil the bolt holes.
