So I have a 2000 Dakota r/t. I purchased the truck a month ago and drove it home just fine. The truck had a lot of rust so I purchased a rust free bed, new fenders, cab corner etc. one day it rained really hard and it was sitting outside and would not start. Just cranked. The next day it was freezing out and the truck started right up. So I pulled it inside and swapped out the cap, rotor, plugs (autolite 3924), and cam sensor. The truck fired right up and ran great. Next day got in it and it only cranked. So I replaced the coil and crank sensor. Still won’t start. I can hear the fuel pump kick on. I swapped out relays and even tried a new pcm. Nothing has changed. I also put the new fenders on and cleaned up those grounds and reinstalled them. Nada. I put a noid light on an injector and get no pulse, but I have good spark at the coil and the spark plugs. Can’t figure it out. I really don’t want to scrap the truck, but I’m having a hard time not justifying that. Please help. Oh yea, I’m an idiot when it comes to diagnosing wiring.
