Exclamation HVAC parts NOS? Oh no!

    Aloha,

My 99 Intense Blue Club cab started leaking from the heater core (151k miles).

I had a new heater core and evaporator put in, but the vacuum pods are not available, and the switch from heat to vent to defog is stuck on defog.

Id like to replace all three pods, but where?

    HELP!

    Mahalo

    Welcome to the site.

Could be something that is disconnected in that area not allowing the actuator to work. Did you do it yourself, or did you have a shop do this?

Just swapped out everything in a friend's '98 a couple weekends ago and it was doing the same thing. Turns out I'd forgot to put the lower vacuum hose back on the one on the far left for the floor vent. That still didn't fix it, but when I took the defrost lines loose and plugged them back up again everything started working again... Start at the line that goes through the firewall and make sure everything has vacuum from there back before pulling it all back apart and replacing everything.
