Is that a 440 source billet rear main seal block? If so I hope you have better luck with it than the one I had. Never could get it to not leak. I ended up putting a factory seal block back in.

Yep it's a 440 source, and I siliconed the whole thing in. Hopefully it doesn't leak. I picked up a new toy so I haven't spent much time working on this...

No pictures to post up yet, but here's a short version of what I've done since the last update:

    - 20gal fuel cell is mounted in the bed
    - 90gph Aeromotive fuel pump is mounted below the cell
    - Fittings, hose, and fuel filters are ordered (100 micron before pump, 10 micron after)
    - Beginning to mock up coolant hoses
    - Deciding on an e-fan
    - Schumacher headers are FINALLY back in stock

Alright folks, I'm back with some updates. I just need a carb, return regulator, fuel, some gauges, and I can fire this thing up.

Love the 440 in the dakota. With aluminum heads and water pump, the 440 will weigh as much as the 360 iron. If my 360 goes, this is my next transition. Will stroke it to 512 to really move this sled.

I've been toying with that idea for my 1995 RC Dakota.

Uploading videos as I type this. I have one from during the initial cam break-in, one just after dropping to 1,000rpm, and then one idling with a walkaround! Hoping to have this truck movable under its own power to go to WAM2020.

Love the idea of stuffing an RB in a Dak. Is the exhaust temporary or are you planing something?

I'm still undecided on the exhaust. I think right now I'm going to trim the headers down and install collectors that will end up around 1/4" above the hood level.

Those headers are insane, nice to see it running and on its way. Good job

This might be worth doing just to have a distributor in the front of the engine

I've got quite a few heat cycles on the engine now and it seems to be dialed in... at least as far as idling. My projects have been moving super slow since I moved. Here's a recent video.

I have moved the truck to the new house so now I can tinker on it on the weekends, since my work was almost an hour away. I also picked up some goodies from my uncle who used to work in Nascar. Expect some more updates
