Talking Proud to say I own a R/T Dakota

Bought a 2001 intense Blue R/T club cab Monday and to say the least, it's a teenage dream come true. Need some guidance though because I've never been able to afford to build something like this, but plan on dumping a bunch of money into this thing because it is to say the least my pride and joy. Plan on contributing as much as I can to this group, never been happier to join any group of any kind. Know I sound pretty cheesy, just overwhelmed.

    Welcome!

Pictures and tell us about it? Is it all stock, or did it come with any bolt-ons?

Not very tech savvy on this site but I'll get it together hopefully lol, its lowered 3.5" and it was done right, rides a bit stiff obviously but is precise when turning just wish tires didn't scrub a bit and want to go 18" viper wheels may have to raise it a bit, it has a built transmission allegedly, I can tell it's not stock cause it's pretty solid when it does shift, which it will not do at wot, need help there the most, kinda crappy exhaust and sound system, I got the audio part but I'm up to suggestions plan on cutting out body and making a wall and that's about it, oh, and I need a complete passenger side door panel need that pretty bad, she needs paint but she'll get it after the first of the year, got a good friend that's as slick as I've ever seen, 5k for a complete paintjob and WHERE DO YOU FIND STAMPEDE/ SPORT PLUS GROUND EFFECTS KIT I have searched and searched and almost lost hope lol. I'll post a parts list as to exactly what's been done to the truck later. STOKED that this group this active, and preshate what I consider to be the sexiest vehicle to ever grace any blacktop

Most times on the wont do the 1-2 shift at WOT is the Governor Pressure Solenoid (GPS) I suggest getting a Borg warner GPS for it, adjust bands and change filter while there. Also double check the Kickdown cable is adjusted correctly.
It can sometimes cause that issue but I doubt it is the problem.

Hey Welcome from Washington state! Sorry, but I don't know where "Albertson" is located. I am quoting you here, "plan on cutting out body and making a wall and that's about it". What do you mean? Do yourself a favor and DON"T ask what muffler sounds best. LOL That'll get you run out here!

Lol mount olive nc about an hour east of Raleigh North Carolina my bad no like cutting the back of the cab and the front of the body and building a box to mount flush to the back of the cab so I can still use the back seat prolly two sundown 12"s cause that is the tone I've always liked might go 15"s though undecided at this point. as far as exhaust I'm still undecided but I feel like true duals would sound better than 2 to one outlet. My opinion lol. Thanks for the welcomes again

There is an aftermarket sub-box out there, just don't know the company. I think it retains the seat...

Ha! ow you can add the state to your location(if desired). Many East Coast Members.

Crutchfield sold them in the past, but no longer the dual enclosure, just the single.
