Welcome to the site Bob! It was nice meeting you a few weeks ago, and glad you finally came out from hiding to introduce yourself. Before the natives get restless, you might want to add a few pictures of your trucks. Your red truck is a beauty, and what, only 31,000 original miles on it? This place is full of information, and years of owner experience.

As for a rear brake conversion, my truck came with a rear SSBS Kit, installed by the previous owner, and it retains the parking brake as well.

I don't know of other options, but I am sure someone will chime in with that information.

Stock ignition is more than plenty for trucks up to 400whp, no reason to waste money on that stuff yet.

With a new engine build I had two brand new Accel coils back-to-back that were bad. I spent days trying to figure out why the engine wouldn't run properly, tore the front of the engine apart checking cam degrees...etc., without any resolution. Since the coils were new I didn't check them at first. Pulling my hair out I finally checked them and they were junk. That was 11 years ago so maybe the quality has changed but I switched to another brand and never looked back.

    Welcome to the site!

There are threads here explaining how to swap 03-04 Dakota/Durango rear disk parts to these trucks. SSBC also makes a kit as well as another vendor that sells a bigger Wilwood kit. I know a member in CA looking to sell his new Wilwood kit. Somewhere in the $3,500 range. It's the pricier kit out there.
