Here's an introduction to my sweet beater if you're not yet familiar. Nevermind the poorly run wideband wiring in the interior pic; that has since been rerouted and hidden.

    Looks great.
I normally hate black wheels but they look prefect on this truck.

Project Maverick. I feel the need, the need for speed

Thanks! I actually don't care for black wheels either haha. The previous owner actually had them powdercoated and they did a pretty nice job or I would've painted them years ago.

I hate my black wheels, but they aren't even nice wheels. Yours look great.

Nice looking truck. What does it look like under the hood? What gear ratios did you go with in that T56, and are you running the stock ring and pinon?

It's a Viper T56 out of about a mid 90s car if I read my numbers on the trans correctly, so the ratios look like this: 1st 2.66:1, 2nd 1.78:1, 3rd 1.30:1, 4th 1.00:1, 5th 0.74:1, 6th 0.50:1. Still running the stock 3.92 rear gear. Sure, it'd get up and go quicker and probably be more fun around town with some 4.10s or 4.56s in it, but man is it nice to cruise at 1700rpm at 70mph with a 27" tire. This has reliably gotten 21-22mpg running down the interstate at 75.

Here is the most recent pic I have of the engine bay. It's been cleaned up a little since then, and the PDC now has one of the Hipotek braces under it instead of drooping down the inner fender:
