    Default My dakota rt

I just purchased a 2000 Dakota RT and today joined this forum. A few details about my truck.
It's one owner with 75,000 miles and looks new--inside and out and is white. Options are shaker hood--shorty radio antenna--lower body cladding--rear bumper removed--bed cover--Chrysler cd/cassett radio.
I am looking forward to being on this forum. Have been to some local muffler/exhaust shops to have dual exhaust installed. I am told no room on left side of truck to do this. Seems some aftermarket kits which use a muffler with dual outlets to give the appearance of dual exhaust.
    Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

    First, welcome to the club
Most guys have an exhaust shop run the driver side over to the passenger side that way, use an X-pipe and I recommend hooker aerochamber, dynomax ultraflow, or spintech mufflers.

Borla and Magnaflow have a nice loud sound. Hooker aerochambers are good also and cheaper.

I went with spintech headers and 3" out one side. R/T likes it.
