Default SOLD Spintech Longtubes - 1-7/8" Primaries - 3" Collector

    SOLD!

So, since I sold my KB blower I have decided to skip going N/A and just skip straight to a turbo set-up and don't need the long tubes anymore. These are brand new, never installed or test fit Spintech longtubes for a Gen 3 Dakota. They're ceramic coated and have 1-7/8" primaries and 3" collectors. These also come with the required port plates and hardware for installation which are still in their original packaging. I bought them last year from Richard at Hi-Potek and a new set (with ceramic coating) is going for $1,144.95 at the moment plus shipping which was $65 when I got mine. When I got these, there was also a nearly 3 month wait time for Spintech to actually make the things which is apparently pretty common for them. I'm asking $1,050 shipped in the lower 48 for these and I can have them on their way to you by this weekend! Anyway, here's the pictures:

    Man, those are sooo tempting.

Anyone running 1 7/8" Spintech LTs? Just wondering how the fit is.

Think of the reflection with all that yellow around them! Can't say on the fitment for myself since I never attempted to install them, but supposedly the passenger upper control arm clearance is a bit iffy and the collector can get close to the frame on that side too, but that was anecdotal testimony from older sets; hopefully the newer sets are a little better

I read somewhere on here that they are a no go 98 and 99's unless you do some frame modification

Yeah was just reading another thread regarding that and mines a '99. I know there's probably not much to gain going from mids to long tubes with my current setup but they're so purdy! Somebody buy those jewels!

Everybody wants 'em til there are some for sale lol... Buying mine saves 3 months of wait time compared with buying from Spintech. And they're really shiney!

I have a 2003 cc RT that is very low. Needing to do an exhaust on it but I'm not sure If I'll run into problems going the long tube route.
Also I am in California so there is that...
Might be better off with some direct fit shorty Eddies that are CARB legal?

Anyone have these in CA? Thanks in advance.

I haven't attempted to bolt them on so I don't know how low they would hang, though it shouldn't be crazy low. I'm also assuming that since they don't specifically mention them being CARB legal on their site that they didn't bother with getting them CARB approved.

I just got home; measured from the top of the flange at the rear passenger side header and the collector is at just a hair under 18" down from there. So you could probably use that and measure from the top of your manifold's collector and see how low that wind's up.
