    Default Fuel line fitting size

What size is the fuel line fitting at the fuel pump? I know the line size itself is 5/16, but I have heard conflicting information concerning the fitting size itself. I have heard 3/8 and I have heard 5/16. I've got a leaking line and inline filter that the previous owner cobbled together by cutting the factory fuel line and installing the filter with worn clamps. I am going to run a whole new nylon braided line (will be my return line, when I do my return system), and was needing to know what size adapter to use on the regulator. I was hoping someone knew without me having to drop the tank to look, and then drop it again to install the new fuel line. I think the rail fitting is 5/16, please correct me if I'm wrong on that one.

Thanks Richard! Also, I will be buying your feed and return fittings when I do my return system in the near future.
