It's all good. Even the most experienced people will make stupid mistakes.

But seriously OP, stiffness lasting more than four hours is a serious problem and you should consult your physician.

I've got one that needs a new home lol, keep in mind the '98 R/Ts are weird and have 4 O2 sensors. If you don't feel like messing with the harness, it'd probably be easier to find a 5.2 PCM.

FYI... crank at 12, cam at 6 with the dots... is TDC, firing on #6

Both dots at 12 is TDC, firing #1.

This is why so many distributors get installed 180 degrees off and engines don't start

Post a pic or two of the gaskets in question.

It's a bit of a stretch to call this a rebuild.

One gasket goes there, and the other one goes there.

So would you recommend wiring in the new injectors on my harness for the 5.9 ecu and not worry about o2 sensors or get a 5.2 ecu and go ahead and qire in the o2 sensors?

5.2 PCM and wiring in the injectors is the easier solution, the missing upstream O2 will make for one angry computer.

So will this work directly with the 5.9 motor that I have even if I'm not gonna run 02 sensors at all?...
This was my biggest concern about this swap

You're gonna have some pretty big problems if you're not running any O2s and aren't going carbed...

Is there anyway to wire around not having 02 sensors because I haven't seen it be a issue with all the clapped out lifted trucks around here that call it exhaust to remove the cat

I'm sorry lol I'm a broke 19 trying to learn kinda how to do some things on my own as far as motors go.
How do people get away running straight pipes where there is no gas change from upper to rear o2 sensor?

You misunderstand, there are FOUR (4) O2 sensors with a '98 5.9 truck and 2 with the other '98 trucks. Only one of them on each truck is what you're thinking about and is the after-cat O2 that doesn't really do much. The others are before the cat and is what determines all your fuel trims. Without the pre-cat O2(s) the PCM is going to see no sensors and light up like a Christmas tree and run like dogshit because it will just assume it's crazy lean and throw extra fuel at it.
