Hey Guys, been forever since I have been on the forums. Been mostly using the facebook groups these days. Anyways, thought I would post some pictures of what I accomplished over 2-2.5 years when I tore apart my truck.
Truck started as an 01 Stock Dakota R/T. Well... at one point anyways. Went through a few stages before I had enough parts to really get into it.
All work (except paint) was completed by myself with some help from my Dad.
- Lots of Thanks to Chris & Ryan for their help and expertise
Hope you guys enjoy it. These are just a few pics I could find on facebook. If anybody wants to see pics of something else, I could probably find them. Took a lot of pictures throughout the whole process.
No Dyno numbers yet... Finally found a guy that might let me use his dyno for tuning in the spring here.
Took it to an old airport runway (No prep, not normally used for racing either) that they were hosting a 1/2 Mile drag event with a homemade timing system that was a bit shotty.
With Traction not being my friend, Truck ran 12.89 @113 MPH according to my slip. This was against a Vette Z06 C6 with Cam, intake and Headers who ran a 12.85. Way way way above sea level lol. If I can get on a dyno, get some slicks and some Water/Meth, I'm hoping to be quicker than that. Not to mention, in desperate need of more seat time and experience to get this truck to its full potential.
