Default Piston's, Roller Rockers, and Valve train oh my!

Decided someone else could probably use some of these parts, as I won't be rebuilding the stock heads anymore nor will I be building a 408 right now.

Hughes Stainless Steel Valves 1.92 and 1.60 $130

Nice spread O parts you have for sale, I would have scooped them up last winter for my build.

They were PAC springs that were pulled from a set of edelbrok magnum heads. Thinking about buying the valves back

Why? they should work with the correct retainer, they are the same spring Hughes sells in their kit for stock heads, same PAC spring without hughes badge on it.

Those springs work without machining the head? I’d be interested in those. Valves, retainers and rocker studs. Let me know your best price on them.

If talking about stock heads yes they will fit but will allow more lift then stock heads can without machining the stock valve guide top for retainer clearance.

Ok that’s what I thought, not trying to go crazy as the stock pistons are in this motor. I’m just trying to figure out my choices of cams that won’t hit. Going in a lifted first gen ram.

they're the hughes 1110 springs, hughes just rebrands a PAC spring to sell as their own.

these retainers are designed to provide a little additional room than the stock retainers for retainer to guide clearance, which is the limiting factor on stock heads. they should allow you to run .512 lift some guys claimed being able to run .525 lift but that's gambling with casting consistency.
