Looks good, but may I suggest add some bracing to the shock mount bar and put a track rod on the rear end.

funny you should mention the bracing..i was just out looking at it thinking i should add some?....track bar...do you think i will benefit from that being leaf spring? i have seen some people run tracks and leafs but never thought about doing it myself...now im curious

Yes you will, even with leaf springs the rear still has side movement that under hard launch can cause it to shoot off to one side, I would add a track bar for that reason.

Does a track rod work the same as the pan hard rod HiPotek sells?

Same, same. Panhard rod, panhard bar, track rod, track bar.

Love your build and following along, working on mine from rear forward starting with removing all components for repaint and corrosion control. And then rebuilding it back with new bushings, nice build keep it going.

UPDATE! She has oil pressure sounds and runs great! but of course the closer i get to making passes the more i realize has to be done! but thats the way it goes! pretty happy with how it sounds considering my exhaust situation. after im making some passes i will get some proper long tubes from spin tech or even a used source but this will work for now and get me running. my oil pan is leaking which is a bummer once i get a driveline built and it it drivable and make sure there are no other issues i will pull motor and reseal. want to make sure trans is good to go first so i dont have to do it twice. pretty happy with how far and fast this build has come.

here is a link to a short idle video its on my Facebook but should be public https://www.facebook.com/jvecker/vid...175223/?type=3

Welp, SHE MOVES! went and picked up my driveshaft today and had a windshield put in and then fired it up and took her for her maiden voyage around the block! transmission feels and shifts great reared is quite as can be and everything seems good, i got a pretty good tune on the car and have 0 off idle stumble which i am happy with still go some tuning to do though! ordering my rear tires here in a couple weeks then its time to let her eat! pretty happy with the outcome and time frame. 2 years 10 months from when i brought it home till i backed it out of garage!
