    Default Spintech Headers Suggestions??

I am about to purchase some Spintech long tube headers, and I was wondering which ones y'all thought would best fit my combo.

It is going to be a 3.79 stroke, all forged bottom end, iron heads (flowing somewhere in the 290 range), matching custom cam, 4bbl M1 or Indy 360-3m intake, with somewhere around 13-15 psi boost with a D1SC Procharger.

Do I really need the 1 7/8 primary headers, or will the 1 3/4 primaries be sufficient? I am asking because, the 1 3/4 are $100 cheaper (not a huge deal if it's needed), and they will provide slightly more clearance.

I'm no expert but better clearance and $100 towards some beer goes a long way

    Are they still making them?
    1 3/4 would be fine.

Richard still has them listed on his website, and when I asked him a shipping question on them, he didn't say anything about them not making them anymore.

I would run 1 7/8" in my opinion since you are running a pro charger.

Running JM Longtubes w/8-10lbs of boost. I'm heavily thinking about going to Spintech mids. Tired of the hassle of taking them off when I make changes to things.

I actually like them. I just don't like how much work is involved in removing them. Mainly the passenger side.

Jess Dale headers, easy on, easy off, bit might be too big at 2" primaries, 3.5" secondaries...we'll find out.

They're still making new Spintechs, just be prepared for a wait. I ordered mine in November and they finally showed up in February. They look good though, especially with the ceramic coating lol.
