Default Magnum water pump and serpentine drive on LA block

Will a magnum waterpump/serpentine setup work on an LA block, from what I can gather it's a yes?

Side note, it should be easy to convert an LA to use the magnum harness?

Rev limiter? that's what valve springs are for!

the magnum water pump won't work on an LA timing cover because the magnum turns counter clockwise and the LA turns clock wise and the timing cover section for the water pump is different.

Now, you could put a magnum timing cover on the la block and it would work but the LA heads also have a different accessory bolt pattern than the magnums so you would need to make an adapter plate for the magnum bracket to bolt to LA heads.

So essentially A/C delete, alternator + tensioner relocation/custom bracket.

Trying to convince my father to buy a set of victor heads, so either an LA block or maybe even R3 LA, or drill the magnum block for LA oiling. Modman intake, Whipple blower, spin tech longs, mega squirt, t56, Just the usual.

Did some more research, and 92-96 blocks have the oiling holes, probably my best bet?

I think those are the years for the la/magnum mix. It should work but be careful. They're supposed to be stronger blocks.
