Default Trans gear indicator cycling on its own- no start

New to me truck, needed pcm, got one and installed now the gear indicator on the dash is cycling as soon as you turn the key on and won't start now. I did pull out the battery tray... there a chance I knocked something loose in the fuse box?

Check your sensor plugs on the transmission. Also, are you sure you got the correct PCM?

mine started doing this as well. I removed the pcm to get it out of the way and i had the battery disconnected for a while. Now I put everything back together the gear indicator is doing that cycling.

well I don't know about the OP but I figured mine out. Turns out I left the C105 connector unplugged. I had the one end mixed in with all the headlamp harnesses and pulled thru the hole where the head lamp should be. I saw the other half but thought it was the cruise control connector cause I removed it . Pretty embarrassing
Oh and future reference. When the gear cycle thru like that, it indicates that there is a open in the trans mux circuit.
