Default Does your GF/wife actually support this hobby!

Just a general question hahaha I always get the "your trucks more important then me" crap. Curious how other women deal with it hahha

I have lost many a girlfriend over my truck, I don't really care!

First thing I tell a new girlfriend about my truck is I will either die in it or die with it!

Mine too. Told her when we first met that I had another woman (my truck). She's had a 69 Chevelle with a big block and a 69 Camaro SS. So she gets it.

My wife refers to it as her truck. I get to maintain it and sometimes it needs new parts

Hahaha so it's a shit luck thing with most ladies hahahah today mine hates it. Come summer time she will be asking why isn't it done yet. She hates it but buys me parts for it. I think it's a month by month thing.

I also pay for the thing and such so money isn't the issue hahah

My wife has always supported my automotive habits. She seldom ever missed a race when I was competing.
I'm not going to say she totally enjoyed it but we made a lot of good friends.
I suppose the 34ft motorhome that I bought her so she would be comfortable at the track didn't hurt either.

I've been with my wife for 13 years, married for 6 of them. She used to go to all the Mopar shows, local cruise ins, and the drag strip with me. I even got her to make passes down the track by herself. Now...not so much. She will only go to British car shows nowadays but at least it's something.

In my situation, when you support your girl. (Lives at my house for completely free, doesn't even buy groceries or pay a utility).
She has no ground to stand on other then to support my hobbies.

I do this for her so she can focus on paying her student loans
She keeps my house and pool spotless.
So I guess it isn't completely free

She went to the 2015 Nats with me and put on a good show, but you've all seen her blow me up on FB talking shit lol. She loves it as long as she riding in it with me. Other than that it's a POS and a waste because she wants a custome CJ. Priorities vs pussy it's a dilemma

My wife just left this afternoon for some Northern NM fly fishing, will be back Sunday.
I'm "WTF is that shit" but she totally supports my unquestioned awesomeness.

Summary: Ya both gotta have your own thing, and the wife has to support yours.

My wife likes it. Plus she is pretty gullible and believes it's super rare and valuable.....
As long as I keep the receipts and boxes from Summit and Jegs hidden in the garage it's all good
