Default Stock ring gap and boost

Guys who have been running a stock bottom end with boost have you had to open up the ring gap? I've been told by a local after 10 psi there's a high risk of butting the rings because the temps get too high. Anyone have some experience with this?

No. Seriously, never have I ever had a problem keeping a stock bottom end together. Keep the timing reasonable , DONT try to lean on it on pump fuel , cool plugs and you'll be fine.

Gotcha, I'll only have 91 octane available out here in the sticks though.
Side question which do you prefer, innovate lm2 or aem uego?

So? It doesn't change your requirements or approach. Just sneak up on it. I made 463/534 on Kevin Feddersons back when I was nervous about SBE.

Yeah, just need to be methodical about it. How far have you managed to push a SBE safely so far?

My point exactly, then I might as well do new bearings, and new rod bolts, which snowballs into just buying new rods, which means might as well go forged pistons, etc...

Typically I stop in the 450-500 whp range. The highest HP I have hard proof of is 525/644. That's more than enough to overwhelm most people on a street tire in one of these.
