Lost the first round, damn track had cross talk on by mistake, and having never seen it, it threw me off my focus when the top bulb came on and the other guy was still sitting there even though he dialed a second slower. He got me fair and square with a .0018 light, he went on the win todays race and the championship.
I bought back in, ran one of the toughest guys out there, Brian Eyers, he's always .05 or better, I cut a .0057 to his .09 and crossed the stripe on the brakes, beat him by .06.
3rd round.....002 red. But it didn't matter, it blew the tires off and my 60' was a tenth off as was my ET, I ran it out anyway to see what it would do, 11.51 on a 11.40 dial.
I'm done until I get rid of this god damn leaf spring set up off and can fit some rubber under the truck, It rocks on killer track prep days, but today, as in almost no prep....It's a frustrating joke.
