Just so i can use something like HP Tuners to tune my truck.
Any thoughts? Like price of used pcm and wiring, 8 coil packs,
Then the Software. About $400, probably more.

It would cost more to make this work than just buying an aftermarket efi

where you going to put the extra spark plugs
I think this would cost more than the benefits gained.
'03 Stampede Graphite Metallic Dakota R/T CC
FRP tune, M1 2bbl, HiPoTek 52mm TB, K&N 14" Filter, Headers, Flowmaster duals
I would use a fast EFI or one of the other stand-alone EFI setups. The price is dropping quickly as they are being cloned by competitors. I haven't done my homework, but FITech has one for $795.
1999 Dakota LS-swap. Fastest NA 5.9/6.0 full-weight CC. 12.76 at 109.9.
2000 Durango ZL1 AWD.
2 different bus and computer formats. You'd need the entire harness out of the donor vehicle at the very least.

Hemi & the 4.7 are more closely related. That's considered the "easy" swap

Crank sensor would be the biggest issue, ATI can make you a balancer with a crank ring on it, it would be a $600 to $800 balancer with the crank ring option from the regular 4400 price tag. Then you would need some fancy mount for the crank sensor, then you would need a way to make the cam sensor work. Better off going aftermarket EFI, Like Casias said they have got very affordable now.

I have done zero research, except this thread.
So, 5.7 and 4.7 must have a crank sensor with much more teeth than our 5.9's have? I can see a definite problem there.
I have see something aftermarket that used the dual sync. distributor, that would be simpler.
What aftermarket setup should i look at?
MS3? Holley efi? Fast? Or whatever i can find used?
