Edit: No, wait. I got it. Maybe he has a high stall torque converter on the supercharger?

Honestly I don't know the setup. I was just posting the dyno sheet as no one wanted to take the initiative .... Being the upstanding member I am I figured I would help with the simple stuff. My unimportant opinion is the hp seems legit and something is goofy with the torque on the dyno output. Or it makes more torque than my diesel, dunno I shy away from posting too many opinions any more but that is mine on this subject

The vehicle is a lifted ram, Torque is more important in the build than high hp, but normally I would agree with your statement.

Who cares if the peak HP numbers are low, the high torque numbers are more important in a lifted Ram truck, all you damn know it alls need to just understand that high HP isn't the desired choice in EVERY build......

Let's not forget that a modern 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins diesel motors generate 375ish hp & 800ish lb-ft torque. Both numbers are under 3000 rpm. So is the chart accurate? It's very possible. BTW, no need to flame me regarding the differences between gas/diesel motors. I know the difference.

Damn, i guess the only way for whoever wants to disprove this is to pay for transportation and dyno time at the dyno of their choice.

If there's one thing I've learned about Ryan in the 2 years I've been dealing with him is that he's a straight shooter. If he says they did three pulls to confirm the numbers, I believe him.

Now carry on beating the shit out of this horse.

Funny you say that. It looks suspiciously like a nitrous shot.

Next we'll be arguing over where I tuned it from......there is a grassy knoll across the lot from the dyno

Truck is 2wd. I posted info on heads in previous build thread. Hope to get to track before end of season, but have a trans issue to fix first.

Holy shit!!!! I personally wasn't accusing Ryan of cheating nor was I accusing rich of anything, I like rich and have tried to help him as much as I could with his 4bbl conversion. The truck is immaculate as well. I personally was simply saying that the dyno output for torque seemed off. And I will stand by that assessment as i know most of you think I am a dummy but I do read and have been futzing with centrifugal blowers for longer than just about anyone here, they typically don't "hit" like that with a huge torque number. They are usually much more linear than a turbo or the other side of the spectrum, nitrous.

If the torque is literally almost 800 than so be it I will eat a big ole can of crow shit, but the reality says that it's not realistic

That being said, I buy the hp number and believe it has more in it with the compression, boost level, head work and cam being used.

Rich, A+ for probably the cleanest Indy ram out there. Either way I am sure the drivability is second to none, that imo is far more important than what the stupid ass dyno says!

Good luck at the track rich .... Let's see a low 11

    Thanks Todd.

Whether numbers are fake or not, Truck runs great and is fun as hell to drive around. All that matters to me.
